This year was a big one for Dublin’s Pride celebration, and we at Pieta were thrilled to be a part of it. For the first time, Pieta had our own stall in Pride Village, and our team proudly marched in the parade.
Despite the rain, thousands came out to celebrate love, equality, and diversity. Our stall gave us the opportunity to chat with supporters and people who were not so familiar with our services.
A huge amount of work went into our Pride attendance from arranging leaflets to badges, pens and protein bars! It wouldn’t have been possible without the brilliant Pieta team working hard in the background.
This year's Pride was an excellent opportunity for Pieta, and we're already looking forward to next year's celebrations. Our involvement in Pride is more than just a one-time event; it is part of our ongoing commitment to supporting and advocating for mental health within the LGBTQ+ community.
